Ancienne Ambiance, in the heart of Chelsea, is celebrating Chelsea in Bloom with its beautiful Summer floral window display. During the iconic Chelsea Flower Show in May, local retailers transform their shops into horticultural havens: a decorative extravaganza. The official theme for this year’s floral art show is ‘Summer of Love’, so Ancienne Ambiance again teamed up with Carly Rogers Flowers to display a bright pop of flower power with colourful pink peonies and roses. Featured both inside and outside the boutique, these beautiful Summer flowers showcase an ‘inside-out and upside-down garden’ – Ancienne Ambiance’s own unique ode to the Chelsea Flower Show.
Running from 21st-26th May, Chelsea In Bloom follows the Royal Wedding and continues that extra special seasonal momentum. 2018 sees the art show’s 13th anniversary, adorning all of Chelsea with glorious floral displays. Drawing ideas from the most famous street of swinging 60’s Chelsea, the Kings Road (just behind the Ancienne Ambiance boutique) will surely inspire each participating business with its own fabulous interpretation.
As part of Chelsea’s community, it’s a delight to explore other floral celebrations by fellow businesses too, like Ancienne Ambiance’s Chelsea Green neighbours Pastor Real Estate, Finns of Chelsea and Tom’s Kitchen, as well as The Ivy Chelsea Garden and many others saluting this iconic floral art show.
Vibrant and vivacious, the Ancienne Ambiance floral installation evokes love and the freedom of Summer. Sought-after peonies bring joy, with those of us who adore these beauties scrambling for them while they are in bloom. I for one cannot get enough of peonies and drink in their stunning beauty. They just make me feel happy, pinpointing the ‘Summer of Love’ theme perfectly.
The floral art presentation welcomes you in to explore Ancienne Ambiance’s latest offerings, beautifully illustrating the brand new Colonia Collection of niche fragrance beauties to behold and, adding an extra special twist to proceedings, it also includes La Soufflerie Tete Vases. Hand-blown in Paris, they provide continental glass glamour. Traditional artisan techniques are used to produce the vases, passed down from the Phoenicians and Romans 2000 years ago. They are the ideal accompaniment to the blooming display, with their colour and fun detail offering vivacious glassware tones.
Embracing floral fancies, Carly Rogers Flowers help create exciting Ancienne Ambiance Christmas displays each year. Known for her work creating awe-inspiring installations at Sketch London and the Mayfair Flower Show, Carly’s team styles dramatic and theatrical creations that can be found across high-end restaurants, private residences and nightclubs. Breath-taking designs offering a floral artistic escape, you’ll find gorgeous images across Instagram of Carly’s designs, boasting floral brilliance aplenty.
