A little history… A stunning pairing, amethyst and chrysoprase are both rich in history. According to Greek Philosophers, Chrysoprase was supposed to be the stone of Aphrodite. Believed to be an excellent gemstone for enhancing emotional well-being, Chrysoprase is thought to encourage tolerance, compassion, self-development, personality, and overall happiness. February’s regal birthstone, Amethyst is said to be incredibly healing and purifying. According to Greek mythology Amethyst was rock crystal dyed purple by the tears of Dionysus, the god of wine and revelry.
