What It Is: The essence of luminous sophistication. Colonia IX opens with a sharp, clean burst of Italian bergamot and cooling lavender, but as it warms on the skin, it unveils a heart of luminous white flowers. The finish is where the magic happens – a sophisticated blend of Creamy Sandalwood and Earthy Cedar provides a woody backbone, while a veil of White Musk and a touch of Patchouli create a silken, addictive trail that lasts for hours.
A little history… A treasured aromatic in ancient times, Sandalwood’s history dates back over 4000 years. Much loved by the Egyptians in particular who, along with the Phoenicians, considered cedarwood both sacred and an emblem of prosperity.

How To Use: Apply fragrance to pulse points (inside wrist, behind the ears, base of the neck), creases of your knees and elbows for a longer lasting, stronger scent. After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly.

* Apply liberally to pulse points, just like Cleopatra did – such as inside wrist, inside elbow, behind the ears, base of the neck and behind the knee
* Avoid rubbing the wrists together after application as this will cause the molecules to breakdown and the fragrance to fade
* Keep skin moisturised as it allows fragrance to last longer
* Spray directly on to your hair, or on your hairbrush, before brushing
* Spray onto your clothes and especially a scarf

This is an intriguing sexy fragrance. I was unsure when I first received it because I didn’t love the way it smelt when first sprayed on the skin, but it smells a-m-a-zing after drying down. Good choice for evenings out or winter vibes. My online experience was great and came on time.
