A little history…  Both Rose and Sandalwood have been used for thousands of years and were favoured in antiquity for their special properties. Ancient Egypt’s Queen Cleopatra was a big fan of the rose, ensuring her banqueting hall was filled with two feet of fragrant roses upon Mark Anthony’s first visit from Rome. Sandalwood’s history dates back over 4000 years (much loved by the Egyptians in particular) and has always been known to have a calming effect on the mind and body, increasing spiritual awareness.
