A little history…  A clean fragrance, Alteeneh (the Fig Tree in Aramaic) blends woody notes of the fig tree with the fruity sweetness of figs, both highly prized in antiquity. It is said that the fig was one of the first plants cultivated by humans and was a symbol of abundance. The Phoenicians, Egyptians, Greeks and Romans all considered figs and fig wood to be sacred.
